Furniture Chests

My sister offered us an old furniture chest of drawers that was in the bedroom of one or more of her boys. She got new ones and was going to toss the old one but thought we might want it.

Turns out we did, because our twelve year old son has been using a smaller dresser that doesn’t have much room for his young adult clothes.

The new dresser is wider and taller than the old one and probably deeper too. Once we took out the shelves, it was not heavy at all and easily carried by two people. It’s probably not the style we would have chosen, but hey, beggars can not be choosers and all that, right? So you can see the dresser in the photo here. It is not so much a chest, but I suppose we can get away with calling it a furniture chest of drawers.
